FAQ

Are there Make-and-Takes with the Workshops?

Yes! A take-home activity is part of almost every workshop program. Most of the time, the item is built during the workshop. In some workshops, the activity requires no assembly and will be given to the children at the end of the workshop.

+

Do we need to provide anything?

The Mad Scientist will need a table on which to set-up experiments. If there are multiple workshops amd Mad Scientist is to move from classroom to classroom, they will need a rolling cart.

+

How long in advance do I need to book?

We recommend 4-6 weeks beforehand. If you are going to be using our Teacher Resource Guide to complement the workshop, allow a little extra time to go over the material with your class before the actual workshop.

+

When do I need to pay?

We do not require any advance payment or a deposit. You pay the Mad Scientist on the day of the workshops. We will provide a preliminary invoice with the confirmation.
